Athletic Propulsion Labs™ Ready for Take Off
March 17, 2010 by Reena Leone
Digitaria's newest client Athletic Propulsion Labs™ (APL) is being hailed as "the next big thing in shoes." Twin brothers Ryan and Adam Goldston have created a revolutionary new product; a basketball shoe that actually gives you a higher vertical leap. Their shoes go beyond smart design and are scientifically tested to help their customers "STOP DREAMING. JUMP HIGHER.™" These USC graduates are ready to breakout and change the footwear game forever.
Digitaria is working with APL to design a custom Web site and e-Commerce platform. The site is set to launch on March 24th, ready for pre-orders.
Recently, SLAM ONLINE interviewed Adam and Ryan regarding their amazing new product, how they created it and the science behind it.
From SLAM ONLINE:
SLAM: We have seen a few products come into the game from time to time promising an increase in vertical and explosiveness. What makes your shoe different?
Athletic Propulsion Labs: The Athletic Propulsion Labs™ product is unlike any basketball shoe ever introduced. From the very beginning, the goal was to engineer the product to provide an instant increase in vertical leap to anyone playing basketball. There have been many training programs introduced in the past that were designed to help increase your vertical leap over a period of months. The APL shoes feature a breakthrough forefoot technology called “Load ‘N Launch™” that provides an instant increase in vertical leap the very first time you jump in the shoes. These are not training shoes; they are playing shoes."

Wow, sounds awesome! But what concerns me most is if they will ban this from NBA and other professional leagues. This shoes give a boost to the player, so they could consider it as an unfair advantage. Or this shoes will become a new standart. Anyway, i guess i will resume playing basketball if i buy this. I git a knee trauma so i can't jump too high, i hope these shoes will help me a bit. )

I'm well past the age where I need shoes to help me jump higher or run faster, but shoes for walking that won't hurt my feet are definitely something I can use. Does Athletic Propulsion Labs make them in a water proof model for my surf fishing?
