Clients Qualcomm and ATP, Adobe partnership Will Keep Hot San Diego WPP Digital Shop Busy at Annual Tech Confab

SAN DIEGO (January 6, 2011) — Top executives from digital strategy, design, technology and marketing agency Digitaria will be among the 120,000+ influencers and tech-heads descending upon Las Vegas this week for the 44th annual Consumer Electronics Show

Agency Chief Executive Officer Daniel Khabie and President/Chief Operating Officer Douglas Hecht will attend the 2011 CES Confab to survey the latest in technology and communications, and support new electronics devices and experiences from agency clients Qualcomm and the tennis organization ATP.

“This is one of the most important events of the year if you need to stay ahead of the consumer zeitgeist,” said Khabie. “Every year I see something that really gets my blood pumping, something that reignites my faith in the human creative spirit and makes me eager to introduce it to our clients.”

In addition to participatory research and networking, Digitaria will be onsite to support Qualcomm’s “Everything’s Connected” exhibitor experience, for which the agency concepted and implemented the Interactive large screen (10’ x 20’) displays.  One display, which replicates Digitaria’s work for the Qualcomm museum, invites CES attendees to share their Twitter handle and project their pictures on the big screen.  Another is a social widget wall, compiling hashtag mentions of Qualcomm and its Snapdragon mobile chip system platform.

Digitaria will also be found at Research in Motion (RIM)’s booth as they launch their new Playbook tablet device, which will highlight Digitaria’s recent tablet and mobile website applications for ATP.

“We expect to be busy at CES, and would have it no other way,” asserted Hecht. “What you’re seeing us involved with at CES 2011 for our clients is a direct reflection of what we accomplished in 2010.”

The past year has been a heady one for the San Diego digital agency, which saw it’s explosive revenue and headcount growth continue, climaxing in a late summer acquisition by the world’s largest marketing holding company, WPP.
