Digitaria Partners With Jigsaw Global at Sundance Film Festival
San Diego, CA - Digitaria, a leading digital marketing and technology firm, today announced a partnership with Jigsaw Global, specialists in digital media education. As part of the venture, Digitaria CEO, Daniel Khabie and VP Media & Entertainment, Michael Brown, will speak about digital media at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival.
The Sundance Film Festival is the largest independent cinema festival in the United States. Held annually in Utah, it is the premier showcase for new work from independent filmmakers. Along with up-and-coming films, Sundance also highlights technology's impact on new forms of filmmaking.
At this year's festival, Jigsaw Global will be offering a workshop called Digital Dive. Digital Dive is a free, one-day immersion program designed to improve digital media literacy. Experts will present case studies, product demos, and practical information about how to produce and deploy Web sites, mobile applications, social media tools as well as cover cross-platform production. A collaboration between Sundance Film Festival and Jigsaw Global, the workshop is geared toward filmmakers and film industry professionals with minimal, hands-on digital media production experience. Khabie and Brown will be speaking about Web development, opportunities in the digital space and understanding the technology behind highly sophisticated Web sites.
