Digitaria Wins Four WebAwards
The Web Marketing Association recognizes Digitaria’s Web technology and design achievements.
San Diego- In one fell swoop, Digitaria, a full-service digital marketing and technology firm, added to an already impressive list of awards and accolades over the past two years. On the heals of winning Webby awards, ADDY awards and being listed for the second consecutive year on the Inc. 5000, Digitaria’s technology and design prowess wooed the judges for the Web Marketing Association’s recent WebAwards, and brought home four awards in a competition that names the best Web sites in 96 industries.
Digitaria, which always looks to raise the standard of excellence in the digital arena, won the Sports Standard of Excellence award for the Baltimore Ravens Web site, Electronics Standard of Excellence for the Gateway One Web site, Outstanding Web site for the Invisible Children Displace Me microsite, and Best Radio Web site for the KCRW Web site.
The Web Marketing Association judges each on seven different criteria, earning a score between 0 and 70 points. The highest score in a given category wins Best of Industry for that category. If the remaining entries received a score of 60 or greater, they received the Outstanding Web site award. If the site score is below 60, but equal to or higher than the average score for the industry, then it will receive the Standard of Excellence WebAward.
For the KCRW Web site, one judge commented that it was a "Solid design, work & site!" leaving no doubt that it had reached “Best of” status. The positive feedback didn’t end there. A judge for the Invisible Children Displace Me site was impressed with Digitaria’s expertise, as well, by commenting, “Exceptional, truly inspirational video-based content. Great Flickr and YouTube integration. Nice edge to the Flash design. Good calls to action.”
