Students throughout the United States competed in Schools for Schools, an online competition to raise the most funds for schools in the war-torn nation of Uganda. We built an invitation-only online community for participants to discuss fundraising ideas and track progress in real-time. Students also were given the freedom to personalize profiles for themselves and their schools. An online community for a competition with a common interest that resulted in $1,207,376 total money raised, that’s success to us.
