Engaging the modern user means more than simply providing a site that appeals to the user. A little piece of each user is left behind. Each and every participant in the Displace Me event had their individual photograph taken.  Participants are then drawn back to the Web site to search their name and accompanying photo. Integrated in this all-Flash site are APIs from Flickr and You Tube, further connecting personal experiences in one central exchange point. The Red “X” that symbolized the event raises awareness for the Displacement Camp. “X” Marks the spot.
