Nature's Recipe® Brand Offers A Look Into Pets' Lives From A New Perspective: A Pet's Eye View
San Francisco (Nov. 12, 2013) — Pet parents know that just like with any beloved family member, time spent with pets should be captured and treasured for years to come — and today, that means digitally. To celebrate the bond shared between pet parents and their pets, Nature’s Recipe® pet food is launching “Nature’s Recipe for Moments℠,” a digital campaign designed to offer pet parents the unique opportunity to capture and share special moments with their pet through www.NaturesRecipeForMoments.com.
Using the first-of-its-kind Nature’s Recipe® lightweight collar camera for cats and dogs, pet parents are able to capture memorable photos from their pet’s point of view and create and edit digital scrapbooks on www.NaturesRecipeForMoments.com which can be shared on social media channels using the hashtag, #RecipeForMoments. Now through March 2, 2014, Nature’s Recipe® brand will offer members of the online community weekly chances to win a collar camera for their pet by uploading their favorite moments to the Nature’s Recipe® Facebook page. In January, one lucky pet and pet parent duo will have the chance to win the “Moment of a Lifetime℠” — a custom, pet-friendly vacation for making even more memories together.
"‘Nature’s Recipe for Moments’ allows pet parents to see life through their pet’s eyes, reminding them just how special each walk, hike and trip to the beach can be,” said James McCollum, Nature’s Recipe® Senior Brand Manager. “More and more, pet parents are turning to digital channels, online and mobile, to research, learn and share information about their pets. We wanted to give amazing pet parents a platform, and a digital keepsake, to share their special stories and one-of-a-kind relationships with the world.”
To kick off the photo journey, Nature’s Recipe® has invited influential pet owners, bloggers and advocates to participate in “Nature’s Recipe for MomentsSM” and create their own digital scrapbooks, chronicled on the campaign’s site. Participants include NBC weather personality Dagmar Midcap, standup comedian Jeff Caldwell, Maggie Marton of the popular blog Oh My Dog!, and the company Barkbox, which delivers a monthly box of dog goodies to subscribers, among others.
The campaign was developed with several partners, including Digitaria, a digital marketing and technology firm owned by JWT; public relations agency Hill+Knowlton Strategies; media services agency Starcom; and social agency VaynerMedia.
